Iona Theriot LeBlanc, 84, a native and resident of Larose, passed away Thursday 
Nov. 5, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at Our Lady 
of The Rosary Catholic Church in LaRose. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 
p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at the church, 

with burial in the Our Lady of The Rosary Church cemetery. 

She is survived by sons, David Lablanc, Garon LeBlanc, Rickey LeBlanc and 
Ronnie LeBlanc; daughters, Susan Chaisson and Lisa Colletti; son-in-law, Nelson 
Leonard; brother, Donald Theriot, and sisters, Lilly Dufrene, Loretta Welch and 
Patsy Hornbostel; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard LeBlanc; 
parents, Albert Theriot Sr. and Julie St. Pierre Theriot; daughter, Nancy 
Leonard; son, Glenn LeBlanc; brothers, Albert Theriot Jr. and Lester Theriot; 
sister, Alberta Arceneaux; and grandchildren, Brad LeBlanc, Raymond Leonard and 
Belinda Leonard. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
