Thelma Brunet Pierce, 87, a native of Westwego, La and resident of Cut Off, has 
passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 at Our Lady of The 
Rosary Church of Larose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m. on Nov. 
5 at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery. 

She is survived by husband of 69 years, Edville Joseph Pierce; Son, Michael 
Pierce (Joy); daughter, Cheryl Wilson (Bill); brother, Melvin Brunet; sister' 
Leona B. "Sue" Cambre; and grandchildren, Mark Pierce, Taylor Pierce, Claire 
Pierce, Jess Pierce, David Adams, Jill Lasseigne, Ashley Kent, William Wilson 
III and Courtney Wilson; nine great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-
grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph John and Lucille Fonseca 
Brunet; Son, Kenneth Pierce; daughter, Karen Pierce Adams; brothers, Harry, 
Irvin, Ernest , Raleigh, Edward and Linton Brunet; sister, Norma B. Ledet. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
