Matthew W. "Pork Chop" Verdin Sr., 60, a native and resident of Houma, passed 
away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015. 

Visitations will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22 at Falgout 
Funeral Home of Houma and from 8:30 a.m. until funeral service on Monday, Nov. 
23 at Holy Family Catholic Church of Dulac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated at 11 a.m. Nov. 23 at the church, 

with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church cemetery of Dulac. 

He is survived by his wife, Marie Rogers Verdin; son, Matthew Verdin Jr. and 
companion, Nicole Foret; daughters, Heidi Verdin and Kelsey Verdin; 
grandchildren, Seth and Kaden Verdin; brothers, Paul Edward Verdin, Jessie 
Verdin, Michael Verdin, Richard Verdin; sisters, Rita Irma Billiot and Juanita 
Agnes Gonzales. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam and Marie Libby Foret Verdin; 
brothers, John, Linwood, Wilson, Wilbert, Jeffery, Earnest Verdin; and sister, 
Theresa Billiot. 

Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
