WALKER, CARLEY

Carley B. Walker, 79, a native and resident of Bourg, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 
2015 at 5:30 p.m. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until Service time today at St. Ann 
Catholic Church in Bourg. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. 
today at the Church, 

with Interment in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery in Bourg. 

She is survived by her children, Gwendolyn Walker Abben, Leslie "Buddy" Walker 
Jr, Dr. Jerome Walker and wife, Donna, Dr. Mark Walker and wife, Margaret, 
Robin Walker Whitney and Lori Walker Savoie and husband, Jason Savoie; 
grandchildren, Katherine and Lesley Abben, Quentin, Morgan and Philip Walker, 
Lindsay Walker, Jordan and Kristen Walker, Kyle and Ross Whitney; and brother, 
O'Neil "Butch" Bascle Jr. 

She was preceded by her husband, Dr. Leslie Thomas Walker, to whom she was a 
loving wife for 57 years until he passed away in 2013; and parents, O'Neil Sr. 
and Valerie Rogers Bascle. 

She was a member/parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. 

Special thanks to her caregivers Carolyn Johnson, Jordan Sloan, Susie Neal and 
Pam Boquet. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church Parking 
Lot Fund, 4355 Highway 24, Bourg, LA 70343. 

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
