Roland R. Allemand, 81, a native and resident of Choupic, LA passed away on 
December 25, 2015.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 8 a.m. until funeral time 
at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. A Mass of Christian 
burial will be at 10:30 a.m. at the church, 

with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church cemetery in Chackbay.

He is survived by children, Cheryl Hebert and husband, Harry, Cindy Mckee and 
husband, Joe, and Chris Allemand;brother, Hayward Allemand; sisters, Delta 
Tabor, Esther Trosclair, Hazel Duet and Mary Alice Benoit ; grandchildren, 
Crystal Guillot and Kimberly Andras; great-grandchildren, Cherish Pitre, twins 
Joshua and Joseph Pitre, Lilly Guillot, and Will Andras Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Hebert Allemand; parents, Eddie and 
Marie Martin Allemand; brother Clifton Allemand, Medward Allemand; sisters, 
Sadie Ledet and Hilda Allemand.

He was a pipefitter at Avondale Shipyards. He was a kind and generous person 
and would give you his shirt of his back. In his spare time he loved to cook, 
hunt and fish. He loved to spend time with his family and friends and was 
always there, willing to help them and others out. 

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Joseph Hospice for 
their care.
