Earline L. "OG" Poindexter Celestin, 65, a native of Terrebonne and resident of 
Houma, passed away on Dec. 10, 2015. 

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at Howard 
Third Zion traveler Baptist Church. Religious Services will begin at 2 p.m. at 
the church, 

with burial in Howard Third Zion traveler Baptist Church Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband, Curvin Celestine; daughters, Melissa Williams 
and Ivory Sylvester; sisters, Joann Poindexter and Mable Robinson; brothers, 
Farris, Edward, and Andrew Poindexter; 27 grandchildren, and one great-
grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Sr. and Louise Johnson 
Poindexter; daughter, Schwann Sylvester; brother, Clarence Poindexter Jr.; 
sisters, Theresa Poindexter and Louise Brown; and grandparents, Stell and Alice 
Nixon Poindexter. 

She was a member of Howard Third Zion traveler Baptist Church. 
She was a homemaker. 

Gertrude Geddes Willis is in charge of arrangements.
