Nora Mae Duncan, age 88, died Thursday, December 3, 2015.
She was a native of Dentville, MS and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m until 
11:00 a.m at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on 
Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. 

Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Duncan and fiancee’ Lauren Duplantis, Dale 
Duncan and wife Debbie, Allen Duncan, daughters, Margaret Guercio and husband 
Carroll, Rebecca Marchand and husband Billy, grandchildren, Heidi Archer, 
Heather LeJeune and husband Brian, Chadd Duncan and wife Casey, Donovan 
LeBouef, Timmy Duncan and wife Kyla, Jordan Duncan and fiancee’ Chelsea 
Freeman, Matthew Marchand, Rebecca Marchand, great-grandchildren, Lily Archer, 
Stephen, Naaman and Luke Duncan, Claire Parish and Everett Duncan, sister-in-
law, Margaret Hood. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lelon Matthew Hood and Fannye Nollie 
Hood Bufkin, husband, Raymond Howard Duncan, brother, LM Hood, sisters, Lillian 
McGinnis and Margaret King, the late Philip Archer husband of Heidi Archer. 
 
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. Nora was a loving and 
devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
