Larry J. Foret, 73, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, LA died 
Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at 
Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Monday, December 14, 2015 from 8:00am to service 
time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will 
be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous 
Catholic Church. 

Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery

He is survived by his wife Charlene Foret; sons, Craig Foret and wife Angela; 
Brandon Foret and wife Amy; daughter Daphne Neathery; grand daughters; Annick 
Neathery, Alyssa Neathery, grand sons; Nicholas Foret; Trey Foret, Joshua 
Escobedo, Jai Foret; sister; Evelyn Matherne and brothers; Ernest Foret Jr, and 
Terry Foret. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Foret, his parents Ernest and Velma 
Foret, brothers;Ivy Foret, David Foret and Tony Foret.

He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. His greatest 
love was being with family. He was an avid LSU and Saints fan. He enjoyed 
gardening, smoking his tobacco pipe, and rocking in his rocking chair on the 
patio. He was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw.
