Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., and Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:00am until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in St. Eloi Catholic Church cemetery. Jo Ann was born on May 3, 1952 and raised in Theriot, LA, by her late parents, Annie Laura and Wilson Voisin, Sr. She was the youngest of four children. Siblings were sister, Mary Linda Martinez and husband Jesse, sister, Maxine Theriot and husband Roland her late brother, Wilson Voisin, Jr., and wife Charlotte. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lorena (Champagne) Voisin and Linest Voisin and paternal grandparents Pauline (LeBoeuf) Voisin and Leonce Voisin. Survived by two children, son, Eugene Hidding, Jr.; daughter, Angela Hidding; grandson, Coen Wilson Hidding; and former spouse of 31 years, Eugene Hidding Sr. She graduated from Terrebonne High School in 1971 and had recently retired from the Terrebonne Parish District Attorney’s Office after seventeen and a half years of service. Jo Ann loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was a friend to all and a Mother to many. Everyone who knew her loved her deeply. She touched everyone with her compassionate heart and generous ways. She wa s a beautiful woman who will be sadly missed forever. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. ======================
