Carolyn LaJaunie, age 73, a native of Plaquemine, LA and resident of Bourg, 
died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time Monday, Jan. 4 at St. 
Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. 
on Monday at the church, 

with burial to follow in St. Ann Catholic Church cemetery. 

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, James A. "Jim" 
LaJaunie Sr.; son, James A. (Sherry G.) LaJaunie Jr.; daughter, Lori LaJaunie 
(Brian) Mustin; and grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" LaJaunie, Parker Mustin, 
Patrick Mustin and Preston Mustin. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. Keith Sr. and Effie Tullia 
Keith; and brother, George W. Keith Jr. 

Carolyn was an avid gardener, loved working in her home and loved spending time 
with her grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and 
grandmother. 
She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. 

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
