He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 9:00am to 10:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10300am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church cemetery in Chauvin. He is survived by his Sons: Daniel LeCompte of Chauvin, LA, Timothy LeCompte and wife Lorita, John LeCompte of Houma, LA, Daughters: Linda Chauvin and husband Larry of Chauvin, LA, Dorian Breaux and husband Richard of Houma, LA, Corine Ellis and husband John of Gibson, LA, Brothers: Chester LeCompte and wife Carolyn, Charles LeCompte and wife Leona, Sisters: Helen Soudelier and late husband Easton, Barbara Breaux and husband J.B. Breaux, Sister-in-Law: Louella LeCompte, 15 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Spouse: Berthamae Pellegrin LeCompte, Parents: Ruffin James LeCompte and America Pitre LeCompte, Brothers: Percy LeCompte, Cyrus LeCompte and wife Annette, Lester LeCompte and wife Hazel, Sister: Dorothy LeCompte, and Grandson: Randy Paul Chauvin. He was a member/parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked at Higgins during World War II. He was the owner of his hardware business and dry dock for sixty-nine years. He was the Secretary Treasurer for the Lacache School. He was an usher for many years at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin, LA. The family would like to thank Lynette Dupre, Linda Labat, Winnie Thibodeaux, Terrebonne Home Care, Hospice of South Louisiana, and Dr. Jules Dupont for their love and care during their time of need. ======================
