She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. Burial will follow at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of sixty-one years, David Dean Rogers, daughters, Jana Claire Rogers (Rodger) Shelton, Dena Rogers (Preston) Sutherland, sons, Barry David Rogers, Perry “Peppi” John Rogers, granddaughter, Kiley Claire (Joseph) Markey, great-grandchildren, Jack Joseph and Mia Claire Markey, sister, Greta Pellegrin Fryou, a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nollie Joseph Pellegrin and Flossie Mary Robicheaux Pellegrin and sister, Haidee Pellegrin Gazzo. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Betty was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother. She was Council President and Scholarship Chairman for Terrebonne Volunteers for Family and Community for over 35 years. She adored cooking, sewing and all types of animals. She was a loyal friend and caretaker to many people in Terrebonne Parish and as well as6p the state. She traveled throughout the United States and there wasn’t a place she didn’t miss. She lived her life to the fullest and did things her way. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, old and young. ======================
