Allemand, 90, a native of Cut Off and resident of Houma passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016. Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma on Sunday, January 10th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Francis #2 Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Betty Naquin Allemand; sons, Wayne J. Allemand (Cheryl), Randy P. Allemand (Susan); daughters, Susan A. Allemand, Ann A. Thibodaux (Chris); grandson, David Allemand who he raised as a son; 3 brothers; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anidas and Valerie LeBlanc Allemand; son, Brian A. Allemand; great grandson, Da'Mitri Celestine; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He was a retired member of Local Carpenters Union #1846. He served his country as a U.S. Marine during World War II. One of seven brothers that all proudly served their country in the U.S. Armed Forces. He loved gardening, fishing and bingo. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to help with funeral expenses.
