Sterling Phillip Authement, Jr., 55, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Bourg, died Friday, January 29, 2016.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 10am - 11am at St. Ann Catholic Church, , LA
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at St. Ann Cathoic Church, Bourg, LA

Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Bourg

Survived by
Sons- Eric Authement and wife Nicole, Rusty Authement, and Christopher Authement Sr. and wife Stephanie
Grandchildren- Trenten, Carsen, Jakoby, Trey, Christopher Jr., and Bradley Authement
Former wife and mother of children- Lorraine Authement
Brothers- Cecil Authement and wife Irma, and Rickey Authement
Sisters- Roxana LeBouef and husband Richard, and Madge Hebert and husband Jamey
numerous nieces and nephews
Wife- Judy Authement

Preceded in death by
Parents- Sterling "Pingo" Sr. and Mary "Tee" Authement
Grandparents- Eugene and Leona Theriot, and Israel and Mae Authement
Brother-in-law- Randy Naquin
Nephew- Mark Naquin

He enjoyed listening to music, gardening, and cooking. He loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren. When possible he enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. He never met a stranger who did not become a friend.
