Bergeron, 73, a native and a resident of Houma, died Thursday, January 28, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales from 9:30am - 11am A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales Burial will be in Terrebonne Memorial Park Survived by: His wife of 54 years Dorothy Dupre Bergeron Daughters - Patricia Benoit and husband Joey Rhonda Perez and husband Jose' Grandchildren - Jessica Benoit Dickerson and husband Ryan, Brent Benoit, Hannah Perez and Michelle Perez Great grandchildren - Camryn and Caleb Benoit and Christian Dickerson Sisters - Violet McLaughlin, Carmen Rogers and husband Dewey, and Kim Quick and husband Joey Preceded in death by: Parents - Walteron Bergeron and Mildred Brunet Bergeron Cousin/Brother - Laban T. Bergeron Godchild - Eddie Dupre Godmother - Lillian Roddy Brother-in-law - Jim McLaughlin He loved going to the camp at Lake Decade, going fishing and listening to the Jam Sessions. He was a Nascar fan and Saints Fan. He was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be forever in our hearts and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Thibodaux REgional Cancer Center, Dr. James Schweitzer and staff. Thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice and staff for their love and care.
