She was a native of Houma, La and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 9:00 AM until funeral time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 . She is survived by her, daughters, Donna Bonvillain Rivere and husband, Will, and Susan Bonvillain Bergeron; brother, Jerome Rhodes; sisters, Irma Marchand and husband, Forrest Marchand, and Janet Engeron and husband, Dr. Michael Engeron; grandchildren, Tiffanie B. Hebert, Jennifer B. Vicknair, Nicole Bergeron, Samantha Bergeron, Ronnie White and Amanda Williams; 12 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, husband of 55 years,Emile Joseph Bonvillain; parents, Alvin Paul and Ann Mary Martin Rhodes; brothers, Reggie and Quincy Rhodes and sister, Juliet Authement. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was the secretary for the Broadmoor Garden Club. She was an avid square dancer in the Knight Twirlers. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. Her most favorite past time was attending all grandchildren's functions and sports related activities. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. ======================
