Lournise Collins Charpentier, 91, a native and resident of Galliano passed away 
Jan. 15, 2016. 

Visitation will take place on Jan. 18, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in 
Galliano from 9:00 am till service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am 

with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Lournise is survived by her daughters Beverly Hebert husband Linton, 
Carolyn Charpentier husband Mel, and Sonya Charpentier Adams, 6 grandchildren, 
16 great grandchildren, and sisters Judica, Elaine, and Melda.

Mrs. Charpentier was preceded in death by her husband Tilman P. Cheramie, 
parents Philozao Collins and Terresia Gaspard, brothers Vendon Sr., Louman, 
Ignance, and Olaine Collins, and sisters Vivian, Louella, Evelyn, and Mildred 
Collins.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Catherine's Hospice and The 
Broadway for all their help and support.
