Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Church, with burial to follow in Bayou Black Cemetery. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Carmen Chauff; three daughters, Lisa Chauff Matherne, Mary (Paul) Caro, Laurie (Kurt) Breaux; son, Travis (Chanci) Chauff; grandchildren, Alana (Brennan) Hebert, Jared Matherne, Rebekah Breaux, Austin Breaux, Erin Matherne, Justin Caro, Lillian Chauff and Abigail Chauff; sister, Karen Chauff Cenac; and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Joseph Chauff and Stella Daspit Chauff; and grandchildren, Christian and Tyler Breaux. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Donald was a member of the St. Bernadette Knights of Columbus. He worked for Sears for ten years and retired from Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory of Donald to Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center or M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements. US Navy ======================
