Yolanda Aguirre Gannon, age 73, a native of Parras De La Fuenta, Mexico and a 
resident of Houma, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until Religious Services at 11 a.m. Friday, 
Jan. 8 at St. Louis Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Tamayo, Herbert Blanchard, Dwayne 
Chiasson, and Tracey Chiasson; brothers, Catarino Ibarra Aguirre, Eduardo 
Ibarra Aguirre, Arturo Ibarra Aguirre, Juan Alfonso Ibarra Aguirre, and Alberto 
Aguirre; sisters, Maximiana I. Verdin, Imelda Ibarra Ortega, and Bertha Adriana 
Ibarra Aguirre; grandchildren, Robert John Tamayo Sr., Billy James Tamayo, and 
Bryan Tamayo Sr.; and great-grandchildren, Billy James Tamayo Jr. and Bryan 
Tamayo Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Joseph Gannon; parents, 
Catarino Ibarra Torres and Graciela Aguirre Chavez; and brother, Roman Manuel 
Ibarra Aguirre.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, L.L.C. is in charge of arrangements.
