Genevieve Cortez LaRose, a native of Kraemer, and resident of Labadieville, LA 
was called to rest on January 21, 2016.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Landry's Funeral Home 
in Labadieville from 6:00 pm until 10:00pm and on Monday from 9:00 am until 
11:00 am at St. Philomena Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
held at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clarence LaRose, Sr.; children , 
Roxane Larose, Michael LaRose and wife Angela, Clarence LaRose, Jr.; 
grandchildren, Corey Wallace, Jr., Cody LaRose, Rachelle Schexsnayder; 3 great 
grandchildren; brother, Paul Cortez and wife, Mary and sister, Gloria Delatte 
and husband, Kliebert, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ursin and Jeannette Cortez; brothers, 
Hilary Cortez, Monty Cortez, Sr., and Jimmy Cortez.

Landry Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of handling the funeral arrangements.
