Marcus Lirette Jr., 88, a resident of Houma, died Dec. 29, 2015. 

He is survived by his wife, Toby Lirette; brother, Raymond Lirette and wife, 
Pearl; sisters, Jeanette Padfield and husband, Bill and Betty LeBlanc. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Marcus Lirette Sr.; mother, Emma Dupre-
Lirette-Naquin; step father, Pete Naquin; brothers, Bobby Lirette and wife, 
Evelyn, Leland Lirette and wife, Lucille; sister, Muriel L. Guillot- Prichard; 
brother-in-law, Jimmy LeBlanc and many nieces and nephews. 

Marcus was a World War II veteran. 
He loved to work in his yard and grow vegetables. 
He worked for Texaco for many years until he retired.
