Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:30am - 11:30am A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church Burial will be in St. Francis #2 Cemetery, Houma, LA at a later time Survived by: Husband - Michael James Marcel, Sr. Sons - Michael Marcel, Jr. and wife Monika, John Marcel and Samuel Marcel and wife Becky Grandchildren - Marissa Marcel, David Marcel, Isabelle Marcel, Grayson Marcel, Kristen Bonnette, Tyler Marcel, Cody Marcel and Jared Marcel Preceded in death by: Parents - John Marian Sartain and LaTrice Parnell Sartain Brothers - Donald Sartain, Earnest Sartain, Ronald Sartain Sharian was loving, talented, spiritual and spirited. She was a musician and skilled with a sewing machine. For 48 years she shared her life, the highs, the lows, the trials and the triumph with a very special Cajun boy, Mike Marcel, Sr. She raised three equally loving, determined men. She had 8 grandchildren that loved her and were deeply loved by her. Her children and grandchildren are guided by the amazing example of the marriage sacrament that she and Mike, guided by their tremendous Faith, lived daily. She lives on with our Blessed Lord and in our hearts, in our memories, in the grins of the grandkids. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, St. Bernadette Liturgy Committee and served as a Lector.
