Latasha Shantell McKinley, 39, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
peacefully at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her residence 
surrounded by family. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m on Saturday, 
January 16 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel located at 6775 West Park Avenue in 
Houma 

with burial to follow in Woodlawn Ranch Cemetery. 

She is survived by her parents, William Sr. and Barbara Jean McKinley; brother, 
William McKinley Jr.; and sisters, Tammy Davis, Karen Stewart, Charlene 
Wiliams, Darlene (Hollis) Dawson, and Betty Jones. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, James Smith; sisters, Natasha 
McKinley and Mary Lee Jones; paternal grandparents, Odeal and William McKinley 
Sr.; maternal grandparents, Shelby Sr. and Rosie Burns-Johnson, and Jerry 
Stewart Sr.; niece, Merrell Stewart; and a brother-in-law, David Williams. 

Jones Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
