Maria Nunez, age 88, a native of Costa Rica and a resident of Houma, died at 
5:20 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17,2016 at Cornerstone 
Foursquare Church 8337 Park Ave. Houma 70363.

She was survived by her husband, Alvaro Nunez; sons , Louis(Sonia) Montero and 
Jose(Yorleny) Montero; daughters Sonia(Flander) Molina and Sehiry(Anthony) 
Nisby; nine grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was a caring woman who always had a warm welcoming smile for anyone she 
met. She was a kind and loving person who will be truly missed by all who knew 
her.
