Norma Guidry Oubre, a native and resident of Luling, met her eternal savior on 
January 15th, 2016 in her home surrounded by family. 
She was 67 years old and was born on November 13, 1948.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph A. Oubre and children Gabriel J. 
Oubre (Jeanne), Matthew R. Oubre (Lori) and Jessica O. Dufrene (Jacob), 8 
grandchildren: Jace, Gabrielle, Evan, Lauren, Meghan, Riley, Eli, and Jackson, 
brother and sisters, Raymond C. Guidry, Rose G. Polkey, Claire G. Cermak. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Guidry and Rose Guidry, and 
sister Celeste Guidry.

She was an example of her faith and loved all who she came in contact with. Her 
devotion to her faith and her family was inspirational. 

Special thanks to Sue Higgins as well as the staff of Serenity Hospice for your 
loving care.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 20th from 10:00- 12:00 at St. Anthony 
Padua Catholic Church in Luling, LA. A mass of Christian burial will be 
celebrated at 12:00 with burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
