Granville "Sagula" Robinson Jr., age 85, a resident of Thibodaux and native of 
Raceland, entered into eternal life on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016. 

Visiting will be held from 9 a.m. until hour of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday 
Jan. 13 at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland, 

with burial to follow in Brooklyn Cemetery. 

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Mary Thompkins Robinson; 
sons, Russell (Martha), Granville Curtis III (Shawnetta), Eric, Brian, Stephen 
(Laura), and David (Allison) Robinson; daughters, Doris Adams (James), 
Jacqueline Smith (Min. Kerry), Allison Hughes (Glenn), and Yvonne Hollingsworth 
(Ronald); brothers, George Robinson Sr. and Wilbert Robinson Sr.; sisters, Inez 
Johnson and Delores Kennedy; 27 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Granville Robinson Sr.; son, Vernon 
Robinson; daughter, Angela Robinson; brothers, Clarence and Phillip Robinson; 
and sister, Essie Robinson. 

Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
