Lois Bruce Savoie, age 75, a native and resident of Cut Off, La, passed away 
peacefully Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at 7:26 p.m. 

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday, Jan. 7 at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 
12 noon on Thursday at the church, 

with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery in Cut Off. 

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Raliegh Joseph Savoie; daughters, 
Rebecca S. Iannazzo (Paul) and Kathy S. Pitre (Roy); grandsons, Stefan Pitre 
and Gavin Pitre; brother, Pierre "Pete" Bruce Jr.; and sisters, Lorraine B. 
Champagne, Linda B. Johnson, and Bonita "Bonnie" B. Richoux. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Sedonie Lefort Bruce; 
sons, Dennis Savoie and Raleigh Savoie Jr.; and brother, Leroy Bruce. 

Lois loved her animals. She enjoyed gardening and fishing. 
Her grandsons were her life. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
