Louise Lasseigne Stevens, 89, a native of Labadieville and resident of 
Thibodaux passed away on January 13, 2016.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 
6:00 PM till 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church from 8:00 AM till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will 
take place at 10:00 AM at the church. 

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery

She is survived by her children, Elaine Babin, James Stevens and wife Cathie, 
Phyllis Delise, Alex (Buddy) (Safur) Stevens Jr. and wife Debra, and JoAnn 
Stevens; grandchildren, Lisa Babin LeGleu, Murry Babin, Jason Babin, Mark 
Babin, Derek Stevens, Erika Stevens, Seth Delise and Sean Delise; 5 great 
grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Alexander Stevens Sr.; parents, Bruno 
and Julienne Gros Lasseigne; son-in-law, Errol Babin; grandson, Kerry 
Robichaux; brothers, Bruno Lasseigne Jr. and George Lasseigne; sisters, Jeanne 
Prejean, Cecile Babin, and Josephine Hebert.

She was a lifelong member of St. Genevieve Catholic Church.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
