Rita Louise Roger Tabor, 93, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA, passed 
away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at her home.

Private services will be held.

She is survived by daughters, Ida Mae Tabor Smith, Susan Marie Tabor; 
grandchildren, Rita Gail Guillot Thibodaux and husband Allen, Elie Guillot Jr. 
and wife Rhonda, Karen Guillot Hebert and husband Jay, Christopher Guillot and 
wife Tracey, Bonnie Tabor Smith and husband Chris, Debbie Tabor Gros and 
husband Ernest, Floyd Smith Jr., Michele Smith Toups and husband Danny, Timothy 
J. Tabor, Crystal Ann Ledet Thibodaux, Damien Ledet; 19 great-grandchildren; 19 
great-great-grandchildren.

She was also mother to Roland John “R.J.” Boudreaux and wife Stella, Mae Ann 
Boudreaux Cedotal and husband Calvin, Jessie Boudreaux and grandmother to their 
children, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband, Gustave Joseph Tabor; parents, Joseph 
Vendon Roger Sr. and Lydia Marie Aucoin Roger; daughter, Mary Tabor Guillot; 
sons, Harry Joseph Tabor, Andrew Joseph Tabor; grandson, Randy Paul Guillot; 
great-grandson, Brennen William Bradshaw; sisters, Edwina Roger Boudreaqux, Ida 
Roger Bourgeois.

She worked for many years in the cafeterias of the schools of the Archdiocese 
of New Orleans as a cook and was well-known by many of the students, who 
affectionately called her “Maw-Maw.”

Thibodaux Funeral Home of Thibodaux, LA is in charge of arrangements.
