Elise Benoit Thibodaux, 84, a native and resident of Choctaw, LA passed away 
suddenly on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.

Visitation will be at St. James Chapel on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 8:00 AM 
till funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 AM at 
the church. 

Interment will take place in St. James Chapel Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Adams, Sandra Ricouard, Joan Peltier and 
Phyllis Cortez; brothers, James Benoit and Roland Benoit; 12 grandchildren, 
Chermaine, T-Boo, Corey, Ken, Christie, Lorena, Crissy, T-Darrel, Dawn, 
Whitney, Solange, and Kysha; 18 great-grandchildren, Cierra, Rylee, Annabelle, 
Zachary, Skylar, Christian, Patience, Gracie, Nicholas, Dayton, Kathyrn, Cole, 
Alexis, Bailey, Chandler, Louie, Promise, Emah, and Avah; and 1 great-great-
grandchild, Javin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Thibodaux; daughter, Kathy 
Thibodaux; parents, Dave and Solange Ordoyne Benoit; and brother, Robert 
Benoit.

Thibodaux Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
