Mary Joyce Melancon Trosclair, age 72, a native and resident of Larose, LA, 
passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7 at Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 
celebrated at 12 p.m. at the church, 

with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery in Larose.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Chris Trosclair; son, Jason 
Trosclair; daughter, Melanie Trosclair (fiancé Richard Bourque); brothers, 
Linton "Tickie", Larry (Jean), Ted (Diana), Donald "Boz" (Emily) Melancon; 
sister, Deborah Melancon; and sister-in-law, Janet Melancon. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alcidien "Black" and Melantine 
Rodrigue Melancon; brother, Herman "Mim" Melancon; and sisters, Rohelen 
Shroyer, Mae Eschette (Nolan) and Dora Jane Melancon and sister-in-law, Elaine 
Melancon.

Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
