Dorothy Mae Verdin, a native of Terrebonne Parish resident of Houma, passed 
away on Jan 20, 2016 in Natalbany, LA. 

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Monday Jan 25 at Community Funeral 
Home Chapel. Funeral Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral 
home, 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery on Civic Center Blvd. in Houma, LA. 

She is survived by four daughters, Delores Domangue, Sharon Wiltz (Joshua), 
Belinda Verdin (Quentin), and Felicia Harris (Stanley); three sons, Solomon 
Verdin Jr. (Shirley), Wiggis Verdin, and Bart Verdin; 14 grandchildren; and six 
great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton Sr. and Lois Sharp; one son, 
Donald Verdin; and one granddaughter, Shere' Verdin. 

She was an avid cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
