He was a native of Crichton, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his three sons, David and wife Karen Williams, J. Rene and his wife Marsha Williams of Houma Charles T. and wife Llaine Williams of Lafayette, daughter, Celeste and husband Donel Autin of Houston, TX., eleven grandchildren, Jane Chauvin, Michelle Everson, Rebecca Hinson, Matthew Tanory, John Tanory, Ryan Williams, Jared Williams, Jacob Williams, Blaire Williams, Melissa Williams and Mitchell Williams, thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover C. Williams, Sr., and Nina Delouche Williams, wife, Audrey Lacour Williams, sons, Richard “Dickie” Williams, Dennis Albert Williams, brother, Grover C. Williams, Jr. James was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps. He was the owner and operator of Jim’s Equipment Company of Houma for eighteen years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and father-in-law. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Army Air Corps ======================
