He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc and on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. He is survived by his wife Nadine Guerrero Witty, children, Miles LeCompte, Breanna and Shelbie Witty, grandchildren, Ian and Avery LeCompte, parents, William F. and Elaine C. Witty, sisters, Pamela (Michael) Witty–Oakland, Donna (Patrick) Quin, nephew, Micah Witty–Oakland, sister-in-law, Sonia Guerrero, brothers-in-law, David, Jeff, Troy and Francis Guerrero, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, father-in-law, Francisco “Paco” Guerrero and mother-in-law, Rosemary Pitre. Witty was the proud owner and operator of Witty’s Automotive for over 25 years. He was a De La Salle graduate. He enjoyed life to the fullest. His love for family and cars always put a bright smile on his face. Billy loved his family and friends. He was a great husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be extremely missed by all. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. ======================
