Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1602.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Henrietta "Chickie" Foret Brunet, 65, a native and resident of Houma, left to be with the Lord surrounded by her Family and Friends on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 8:14 p.m. after a brief battle of Pancreatic Cancer. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 3 and 9 to 11 on Friday, March 4 at Vision Christian Center located at 4467 Hwy 24 in Bourg, LA. A Celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., with a private burial to be held at a later date. She is survived by her three children, her son, Michael "Dax" Brunet and Companion, Stephanie Hughes; and daughters, Rachel Brunet Chiasson and Husband, Bryan, and Jennifer Brunet Runnels and Husband, Billy; four grandchildren, Lyndzey and Shelby Chiasson, and Alex and Jaice Runnels; one sister, Tammy Chauvin and Husband, Keith; two brothers, Lawrence Foret and Mark Foret; mother- in- law, Mary Mae Brunet; and numerous In- laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband of forty-two years Chester Brunet; her parents, Henry Foret Sr and Joyce Voisin Foret; four brothers, Harold Foret, Glyn Foret, William "Bill" Foret, and Henry Foret Jr; grandparents, Stilly Voisin Sr and Ilene Dumond Voisin and Lawrence Foret Sr and Rosalie Dubois Foret; father-in-law, Chester "Red" Brunet; sister and brother-in-law, Justelia Brunet Falcon and husband, Steve Falcon. Chickie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a devoted Christian that Loved the Lord with all her heart. She was very compassionate and giving, always wanting to help others. She had a vibrant spirit and never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her but she will never be forgotten. "But They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
