She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. In honor of her life visitation will be held on Thursday February 18, 2016 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Friday February 19, 2016 from 9:00AM until service time. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home pwith burial to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty years; Michael Gene Burke; brother: James "Yimmy" M. Fonseca; Sister: Nettie Marie Fonseca Chisholm and husband Clifton “Pete” Chisholm; Grandchildren: Sarah Soignet and husband Courtney Soignet, and Alexa Armond; Daughter-in-Law: Dudlene Dehart and husband Sullivan Dehart; and Great Granchild: Brayden Soignet. She was preceded in death by her, Parents: Raoul "Red" Fonseca and Marie "Cat" Boudreaux Dupre; Son: Alexander Joseph "Snook" Armond Jr.; Brothers: Earl Joseph "Piyock" Fonseca and Ray Paul "CoCo" Fonseca,; Sisters: Delphine "Phinie" Trahan and Doris "Da" Fonseca Fremin. She was a retired nurse, a hard worker, and always available to lend a helping hand. She loved spending time at her camp, fishing, a good cup of coffee, reading, and working in her flower garden. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all. ======================
