John A. Coglaiti, a native of Houma at 3220 Glenmore Avenue, died Feb. 21, 2016 
at the age of 71. He is survived by his sister, Norine F. Coglaiti, seven 
nieces, four nephews, five grandnieces, five grandnephews and a number of great 
nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his son, John A. Coglaiti Jr.; mother and father, 
Joseph S. Coglaiti Sr. and Annette L. Gillies; two brothers, Joseph S. Coglaiti 
Jr., Mark Jr. Coglaiti; his grandmother, Louise Unger Gillies and Mark L. 
Gillies I; Aunt Hilda E. Gillies, two nephews, James A. Robertson and Donald 
Coglaiti; one great niece, Brandi Sonnier; great nephew, Scotty Sonnier. 

In lieu of flowers donate to Cancer Fund of America 

as he donated his body to science.
