Anna Lee Marie Dumont, age 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Chauvin, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. 

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 at Chauvin 
Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at St. 
Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 a.m. on 
Wednesday at the church, 

with burial to follow in Joseph Catholic Church cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Merrill Gautreaux and husband, Fred, and 
Janice Lopez and husband, James; sons, Errol Dumont and companion, Louella 
Lambert, and Nason Dumont and wife, Jennine; grandchildren, Tracy Gautreaux, 
Craig Gautreaux, Mitzi Falcon, James Lopez, and Gregory Lopez, Erica Matherne, 
Matthew Dumont, and Natasha Kraemer; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-
great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-laws, Lorraine Thibodeaux and Stella 
Thibodeaux. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elise Thibodeaux; husband, 
Harry Dumont; sister, Audrey LeBoeuf; brothers, Claude Thibodeaux and Roy 
Thibodeaux; and brother-in-law, Alvin LeBoeuf. 

Anna Lee was a lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 
Ward 7 Citizens Club. 
She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and 
great-great-grandmother. 

She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She was a parishioner 
of St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
