Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 9:00am with Rosary at 12:30, with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm at Annunziata Catholic Church with internment to follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carol Bueche Eschete; his sons Cal Eschete and wife Kathleen Nordman and Dean Eschete and wife Margaret Smith; his daughters Jan Hicks husband Allen, Jean Ellen Pontiff husband Michael, and Amy Eschete and fiance' Jim Lanser; 17 grandchildren Jennifer Eschete, Karen E. Guidry, Eryn E. Berard, Gwen E. Romero, Amanda E. Sutherland, Elizabeth E. Arthur, Lauren Eschete, Andrew C. Eschete, Jared Hicks, Jon Hicks, Aaron Hicks, Ashley Pontiff, Haylie Pontiff, Scott Pontiff, Katie Bergeron and Kellie B. Lewis; and 21 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Junius Eschete and Ledora Bergeron Eschete Crochet; brothers J.P. Eschete and Carlton Eschete; sister Willie Mae Ledet; son Curtis Eschete Jr; Grand-Daughter Amelia Eschete and Great Grandson Bryce Richard. Curtis was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as an aviation electronics technician during the Korean War. He was a retired employee of T.G.M.C., a self-employed carpenter and talented wood-craftsman. He was a previous owner of the Scarlett Scoop Ice Cream Parlor and former salesman for Community Coffee. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church in Houma, and recently of St. Simon the Apostle in St. Louis, MO. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus. ======================
