He was a native of Fort Worth, TX and resident Des Allemands and Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1:00pm to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:30pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: A private burial will be held by the family at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Sons: Charlie Foster and wife Stephanie, Lane Foster Jr., and Earl Sevin and wife Melissa; Daughter: Britt Morel and husband Taylor; Brothers: Tootie Cortez, Stanley Foster and Richard Foster, and Grandchildren: Drake, Blake, Gabriella, Maya, Olivia, Lyla, Ethan, and Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his, Spouse: Carol Autin Foster; Father: Stanley Foster Sr.; Step Father and Mother: Ernest "E.J" Cortez and Beula Cortez. Lane was a veteran of the armed services and served in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class during the Vietnam War and in the U. S. Army Nation Guard during the Desert Storm Conflict as a Staff Sergeant 1st Class. He was a dedicated employee of the NREC Power Systems in Houma, LA. U.S. Navy ======================
