Dorothy Lee Celestine-Frye, 55, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Raceland, passed away peacefully at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016 at 
Houston Methodist Hospital. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Monday, March 7 at 
Rock of Ages Baptist Church in Houma, LA. Funeral Services will begin at 11 
a.m. on Monday at the church, 

with burial to follow in Crescent Farm Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Frye, Sr.; sons, Michael Celestine, 
Gerald Frye Jr. (Katina), and James R. Bradley (Latisha); daughter, Shaleia 
Winston (Vincent); father, Thomas Celestine; brothers, Irvin (Virginia), Ernest 
(Doretha), C.W. and Rufus Celestine; sister, Lois Ruffin (Julius); and ten 
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Rose Celestine; sisters, Ora Mae 
Celestine and Barbara C. Nixon; and a stepdaughter, Lakeshia Frye Thomas. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
