Bessie Lyons Johnson, 85, A Native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of 
Hercules, CA, died February 13, 2016. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levy Johnson; parents, Baptiste Lyons 
and Sophia Aitkens L. Washington; brothers, Curtis Lyons, Sr. and Frank Lyons; 
sister, Symentrus Lee; children, Bruce, Donald, Chris and Karen Johnson; 
grandson, Corey Johnson. 

A Former member of the Hollywood Road Church of Christ, she attended the San 
Pablo Church of Christ in Oakland, California.
