Desmond Jones, age 41, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Thibodaux, died 
on Tuesday Feb. 23, 2016. 

Visitation will be held from 1 – 3 p.m. on Friday, March 4 at Community Funeral 
Home in Raceland and from 9 a.m. until Funeral Services at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 
March 5 at Moses Baptist Church, 1033 Canal Blvd. in Thibodaux. 

Interment will be at Blue Lily Cemetery in Schriever, LA. He is survived by his 
fiancé', Latasha Robinson; step-parents, Claudell and Lorraine Frye; sons, 
Desmond Jones Jr., and Tyriq Jones; brothers, Dwayne and Jamie Jones; and 
stepbrothers, Don Frye, Christopher Holmes, Joseph Brown and Alphonse 
Forrestier IV.; and stepsister, Temikia Berry. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Stephanie Jones-Frye; and stepbrother, 
Dantrell Anderson. 

He enjoyed cooking and listening to music. 

Community Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
