He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 8:30am to service time at St Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial to follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years; Carolyn Poche Ledet, Son; Lawrence J. Ledet and wife Toni Lynn Battaglia Ledet, Daughters; Donna Ledet Trosclair and husband Roger Trosclair, Jennifer Ledet Benoit and husband Darrel P. Benoit, and Rochelle Ledet Miller and husband Raymond P. Miller, Sister; Audrey Ledet Matherne, Grandchildren; Charles and Amber Ledet, Darrel Benoit Jr. and wife Dawn, Drake Eschette and wife Virginia, Taylor and Blake Ledet, Kristopher Trosclair and Krystal Trosclair and fiance' Hunter, Valyn Rae Miller Fitzgerald and husband Kevin, Dillan Miller and wife Amanda, Payton, Hannah, Gracie, Holden Miller, and special to his heart; his Great Niece Cierra Calloway and Great Nephew Christian Matherne, Great Grandchildren; Kailei and Addison Bergeron, Ella and Hayes Olsen, Chanceton and Bella Rae Fitzgerald, Kade Basnaw and Dakota Ledet and Kiara LeCoste, Hayden, Rhylan Miller and their future little one, Jerome Eschette and Layla LeCompte. He was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-law and many other family and friends that he loved. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Hewitt Joseph Ledet and Agnes Marcel Ledet, Brothers; Wilson Ledet, Walton Ledet, and Paul Ledet, Sisters; Mary Ledet Fullmer, Leona Ledet Tipton, Eunice Ledet Bergeron, Cecile "Sis" Ledet Scott, and Edna Ledet Guidry. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He loved to hunt, fish, cook and fellowship with his family and friends. Huey never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. ======================
