Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at St. James Baptist Church located at 6319 S. Bayou Black Drive in Gibson. Burial will follow in St. James Baptist Church cemetery. She is survived by her son, Richard Mahoney, Jr. (Angela); daughter, Lisa Lorraine Mahoney; grandson, Aidan Mahoney; brothers, Joe, Sr., Herman, Jr., James, Sr., Ronald, Alvin and Barry Bogen (Octavia); sisters, Johnsilee Nisby, Margretta Livas (Charley), Debra Conley (Rufus), and Brenda Vanburen (Robert); godchildren, Karen Livas-Boyd and Crystal Nisby; and a devoted niece, Rosemary Johnson (Joe). She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mahoney, Sr.; daughter, Sharon Ann Mahoney; parents, Herman, Sr. and Rosemary Ward-Bogen; brothers, Freddie and John Bogen, Sr.; sisters, Catherine Bogen and Ora Mae Martin.
