Mazie Lee Harris-McKinley, age 73, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
peacefully at 1:14 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the church. The funeral 
will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 29 at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 

with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by sons, Karl, Steve (Mary), Craig and Shawn McKinley: 
daughters, Pamela, Sharon and Malika McKinley; brother, Frank Harris; sister, 
Alice Mae Jones; nineteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Melvin McKinley; daughter, Shandra McKinley; 
son, Kevin McKinley; grandson, Kardale Johnson; great-grandson, Kash McKinley; 
parents, Freddie Sr. and Louise Deville-Harris; brothers, Freddie and Clarence 
Harris; sisters, Louise Smith, Anna Swan, Bernice Simmons, Josephine Baker, 
Rose Dale Williams and Zenobia Swan. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
