Dexter Martin Sanders, age 57, a native and resident of Houma, passed away 
peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday, March 1 at 
Dularge Community Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday 
at the church, 

with burial to follow in Southdown Cemetery. 

He is survived by his son, Lorenzo Collins; daughters, Amber, Ashley and 
Allegra Sanders; brothers, Roosevelt Ezell, Milton and Eugene Sanders; sisters, 
Loretta S. Scott, Lena Sanders and Vanessa Sanders; and eight grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Madelyn F. Sanders; daughter, Yana 
Sanders; grandchildren, J'quan and J'vuan Ruffin; and parents, William and 
Estella Williams-Sanders. 

Arrangements entrusted to Jones Funeral Home of Houma.
