Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafourche/obits/dateobits/2016/f1602.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Julie Charpentier Savoie, age 82, a native of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Helotes, TX, began her heavenly journey on Feb. 13, 2016 at 3:03 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church, 350 Utopia Lane in San Antonio, TX. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 5-9 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. until service time at The Pentecostals of Houma, 1810 Bayou Blue Road in Houma, LA. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Church, with burial to follow in St. Elie Cemetery. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 Julie Charpentier Savoie is survived by her; Sons; Ira J. Savoie Jr and wife, Lee Anne, Randy J. Savoie and wife Cheryl; daughter; Sandra Savoie Gonzales; and grandchildren, Daniel Savoie, Nathaniel Gonzales, Elizabeth Gonzales, and Great Grandchildren; Taylor Savoie, Mason Savoie, Caleb Savoie, and Talya Savoie; step grandchildren, Ashley LeBeouf, Leslie Scott and William Connell; and eight step great-grandchildren, one step great-great-grandchild, numerous nephews and nieces; and her best friend of sixty years, Lou Dupre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Joseph Savoie Sr.; parents; Joseph C. Charpentier and Nannie Duplantis Charpentier; brothers, Sylvester Charpentier, Jeff Charpentier, and Peter Charpentier. She loved Jesus with all she her heart. She had great compassion and love towards everyone. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to First UPC SA Building Fund at P.O.
