Mailu Hughes "Grandma LuLu" Sterling, 88, a native of Milwaukee, WI and 
resident of Houma, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 at 5:02 PM. 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday, March 5 at 
Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 
a.m. at the church. 

Christian Burial will be held at a later date. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hebert (Jan); daughter-in-law, Diana 
Sterling; grandchildren, Mandy Olivier (Joey), Brad Hebert (Sarah), Brandy 
Pryce (Mac), BJ Sterling, Taylor Sterling, Erin Sterling, Amber Carey (Elric); 
great-grandchildren, Laura Traylor (Dylan), Devin Olivier, Cullen Hebert, 
Paisley Hebert, Collin, Isabella, Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Sterling; parents, William R. 
Hughes and Louise E. McGill Hughes; son, William "Bill" Sterling; brothers, 
Richard Hughes and wife, Joan, and Jack Hughes and wife, Ag; sister, Danna 
Hughes; and grandson, Ben Hebert. 

Mailu was a beloved wife, mother, and Grandma LuLu. 

The family would like to thank the TGMC staff in CCU, 4 North, and 3 North 
Halls, Haydel Hospice, Dr. Dickie Haydel, Dr. Scott Haydel, Dr. Matt Watkins 
and the staff of Heritage Manor. 

Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
