Zora White, age 39, a native of Eureka, CA and a resident of Bourg, passed away 
on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016. 

Visitation will be held from 5 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, Mar. 3 and from 9 – 11 
a.m. on Friday, Mar. 4 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Funeral services will 
be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial to follow in the Rogers Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband, Daniel J White III; parents, Harry Chappell and 
Barbara Chappell; sons, Christopher Machdao and Daniel J White IV; daughters, 
Charity Machado and Samantha Rose White; brother, Chuck Young; sister, Rebecca 
Chapel; grandfather, Charles Young; and grandmother, Charlotte Hogge 

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Paul Bance; and grandmother, 
Josephine "Jo" Bance. 

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
